About the Photographer

Steve Zabel spent most of his adult life in public service . In 1984 he competed in a work related competition in South Africa.While there, he had the opportunity to go on a camera safari in the Krueger game reserve.Steve took his camera and lenses and  shot hundreds of  wildlife photographs, it was one of the most rewarding experiences of his life. Since that time Steve has had a passion for photography.  After retiring from his 30 year career in 2004 he re-kindled his passion. Steve's real pleasure is capturing images of people, places and things, especially fine automobiles. One of the greatest photojournalists of our time Harry Benson told Steve "Photography is capturing a moment in time that can never be repeated". Steve says "Although I can recreate set designs, fashion, make up etc. I cannot go back in time to recreate special moments that photographs can  document for a lifetime".  Steve has an eye for  great composition and provides exciting ideas for shooting your special moments. Steve believes in exceptional customer service. He is a member of The Professional Photographers Of America and the Professional Photographers of California. Steve treats photography as an art.
